    How to watch TV service on more than one tv?

    1. Two TVs and one Alfabox.
      You can connect two TVs to one Alfabox. You should connect one TV through HDMI cable, and the other one through composite cable. In this case, both TVs will show the same channel.
    2. Two or three TVs and two or three Alfaboxes.
      Each Alfabox can be connected to separate TV and you can watch different channels on each TV at the same time, however, all Alfaboxes have to be connected to the same Internet – Multiroom. In this case, only one subscription is required.
    3. Four TVs and four Alfaboxes.
      You can use the Multiroom function up to three TVs. To watch at the same time on more then three TVs you will need an additional subscription.

    I’ve got a router on the 2nd floor and TV on the 1st floor. Can I use Wi-Fi connection to connect your TV Box?

    Yes you can buy WiFi Set-Top Box, which will allow you to watch TV service without running a cable from 1st to the 2nd floor. You should keep in mind, that while using Wi-Fi connection, there can be interference and the data transfer could be unstable, which might lead to screen freezing for few seconds at a time. Wi-Fi network is very sensitive to nearby Wi-Fi networks and household appliances. We DO NOT recommend that type of connection.

    What if channels in archive don’t match the channel list?

    This means that the server has lost its broadcasting program schedule. After a while a failure will be eliminated. Until the problem is resolved, you will have to switch channels while taking into account how much difference there is.

    How the Internet speed (bandwidth) affects stream load time and playback?

    Stream playback time depends on few factors and will load slower then buffer setting if there is less bandwidth then the stream requires.  If internet speed ( the better term would be available bandwidth) is 20, 50 or 100 Mbs, a stream will load in the exactly same amount of time based on the buffer setting. In case that internet speed is lower than the bandwidth required for the video stream, which is from 3 Mbs to 10 Mbs, then stream will take longer to load then the buffer time.  For example, if a customer has internet speed 3 Mbs and starts HD stream that requires 10 Mbs and has 3 sec buffering, the stream will take longer then 3 sec to fill the buffer and start the playback because there is not enough bandwidth.

    Service doesn’t work: Black screen/No Signal

    If you have troubles with connecting the Set-Top Box you should try the following steps:
    • Check the connection between the box and the TV. Check if the cord is plugged in properly.
    • Check which TV input are you using with the Set-Top Box (for HDMI cables – its HDMI1, HDMI2, HDMI3, HDMI4, etc. For Composite cables – Video 1, Video 2 or AV1 \ AV2).
    • Press ‘INPUT’ button (‘SOURCE’ ‘TV/VIDEO’) on TV remote. You will see the INPUT menu, where you need to choose the correct type of connection.

    What to do if you see message “error 100” (110, 120, 121)?

    That means you have problems with your Internet connection. In order to set everything up, you should do step by step:

    • Check the connection between the Set-Top box and the router. Check if the cord is plugged in properly.
    • Check if two LEDs on the rear panel of the Set-Top Box are blinking (Green and Orange).
    • If you have a PC at home, check the Internet connection. Use bandwidthplace.com
    • One by one turn off and on again your modem and router (you should wait until full initialization of your modem) then try turning on your TV Box again

    Error: “can’t fetch any data for this url”

    You can see this error when the tv box has lost the Internet connection. To fix the problem, you need to reboot your set-top box. If it doesn’t help, you have to reboot your modem, router and after that reboot the TV box.

    What to do if you see a message: “Connection Time Out”

    That means, that your Internet connection was interrupted. You should check if you have your Internet connection on other devices (PCs, Laptops) and then try rebooting the TV Box (Unplug it and plug it back in).

    What to do if you see black screen and message “Service Not Available”?

    This error can occur if there has been a network connection error (Internet problems). For example, you have rebooted your modem and now it gives your Set-Top Box a different IP address. Or if you have experienced Internet connection problems — local network was working, but there was no Internet access, and it occurred during the time you were using our TV Service. That is why this message appears. All you have to do is to reboot your Set-Top Box, so it can get a new IP address.

    How automatic payment option works and how to activate your new subscription?

    When you pay for monthly service it doesn’t automatically extend your service.  It works similar to the prepaid phone service.  Basically, it expires after 30 days even if you pay for another month before your current 30 days expire.

    In order for your service to automatically extend every month, you must select our automatic payment plan.

    To access Polska TV please do the following:

    For Dune Box:

    Press “Top Menu” to go to the Home Screen > Select “Polska TV” and press enter

    For Alfa Box:

    Press “Setup” button to go to the Tech Menu > Select “Reload Portal” and press enter (IMPORTANT: Do not press “Reboot” or “Reset” options at any time) > When Home page is loaded select “Polska TV” and press enter

    Please be advised that you can switch to Automatic Payments at any time. This option is not a contract and you can cancel it anytime.

    If the new Set-Top Box is released, how can I exchange my old box for a new one?

    We offer a lifetime warranty for all TV boxes bought from us as long as you are Polish TV Service subscriber.

    If the box is defective or broken and it requires an exchange, we will exchange it for the same model.
    If your box is in the working condition we can exchange it for a new model, however, there will be a fee.

    Can I cancel your service, if I want to? Do I have to a pay cancellation fee?

    Service cancellation

    You can cancel the service for a full refund within 14 days from the time of your first access.

    After 14 days you can also cancel service and get a partial refund if you prepaid for 90 or 365 days. In this case, the refund will be proportionate to the amount of service used (full price will be deducted for each month the service was used). For example, if you want to cancel annual service ($299.99) after 3 months of use and the price for one month of the service is $29.99, the refund amount will be $299.99 – (3x$29.99) = $210.02.

    Box return

    You can return the box for a full refund within 14 days of the delivery.

    After 14 days a restocking fee of $25 will be deducted from the refundable amount. In case you decide to return equipment after several months of purchase, after 14 days a restocking fee of $25 will be deducted from the refundable amount. In case you decide to return equipment after several months of purchase, the additional fee of $10 will be applied for every month of use. For example, you returned TV box after two months of use. You will be refunded the original price of the box minus restocking fee of $25 minus $20 fee for each month of use.

    The way you can return the box depends on the place, where it was purchased. You can either bring it in person to the store where it was sold or send it via mail if you purchased it online

    I want to buy an annual subscription. Can I pay half now, and the other half next week?

    No, you should pay in full, because the computer system won’t let us to activate your subscription, if the payment wasn’t full.

    What if I recommend you to my friends? How do I get my bonus?

    For every new customer, whom you have recommended us, we are offering a 30-day subscription; in order to qualify for the bonus the person you recommended us to must purchase our annual service or remain our customer for at least one year.

    What kind of warranty do you offer?

    Polish TV Company  guarantees service and equipment quality for their customers while they are using Polish TV  Service. If the equipment is found to be defective, Polish TV Company will:

    1. Replace the equipment
    2. Provide free repair of the equipment

    The warranty is provided directly to the customer and can not be transferred with the equipment.
